Frequently asked questions.
- Who is the Peony Retreat for?
Women who have experienced breast cancer and are seeking restoration, trusted education, growth, and community. Whether you are newly recovering, years into survivorship, or facing a recurrence, the retreat offers a supportive environment to learn, restore, and connect.
- Do I need to be finished with treatment to attend?
No. Women may attend during treatment, recovery, survivorship, or while managing a recurrence, provided they feel physically able to take part.
- What makes the Peony Retreat different from other wellness retreats?
It brings together women, leading experts, Integrative Cancer Doulas, survivors, and members of the Peony community in one shared experience — combining evidence-informed education, complementary therapies, restoration, and ongoing community support that extends well beyond the retreat itself.
- What is included in the retreat fee?
Five nights of luxury accommodations, daily breakfast and lunch, educational sessions and workshops, integrative wellness experiences, group activities and excursions, and community gatherings and celebrations. Additional details are provided before registration.
- Will there be medical professionals at the retreat?
Yes — educational sessions are led by trusted experts, practitioners, and guest speakers. The retreat is not intended to provide medical treatment or individualized medical advice, and participants should continue working with their healthcare providers on all treatment decisions.
- Can I attend alone?
Absolutely. Many women attend on their own — building friendships with others who understand the breast cancer experience is one of the most meaningful parts of the retreat.
- How physically demanding is the retreat?
Activities are accessible and optional. Women are encouraged to participate at a pace that fits their health, energy, and stage of recovery.
- What is the application process?
Because space is limited, attendance begins with a Request an Invitation form. Women who express interest receive additional information, updates, and registration details as they become available.
- Is the retreat connected to the Peony app and community?
Yes. The retreat is part of the broader Peony ecosystem — the app, the Healing Happens Together Podcast, educational programs, and Integrative Cancer Doula support. Many participants meet online first and continue those relationships long after the retreat.
- Why Corfu, Greece?
For its natural beauty, relaxed pace, rich culture, and inspiring setting — an environment built to support learning, restoration, and reflection.
Room to restore.
If you're ready to invest in yourself, deepen your support, and consider what comes next alongside others who've walked a similar path, we'd love to welcome you.
